F**ks News

With the exception of Fox News Sunday, I rarely watch Fox News, and so cannot judge whether this represents a new low. No matter what your opinion of the network, this is flabbergasting:

Looking at it I am wondering it it is a bad aspect ratio conversion problem plus a deepening of the color saturation. But I have to admit parts of the image do not seem to line up with that theory.

It would be nice to know how they obtained the screenshot. If you captured the HD broadcast MPEG-2 transport stream, that's something you can trust. Cable and satellite companies do horrible things, especially the cable analog tier. God forbid someone took a picture of their plasma display.

Oh after RTA I noticed "Fox & Freinds" were superimposing Steinberg's face over a poodle - this makes me doubt any technical problem.
