Rounded corners. Gradient overlays. AJAX.
That's it.
Posted by cradle at June 9, 2006 05:37 PMNo, there's better responsiveness (thanks to AJAX). Or, in the case of Yahoo Mail Beta, worse responsiveness (thanks to AJAX).
Posted by: Bob S at June 13, 2006 05:38 AMYay! How's Ajax working out for ya?
Posted by: momo at June 13, 2006 12:30 PMWho, me? I don't have no stinking AJAX. Just an obligatory gradient overlay.
I just find the herd mentality of web designers to be amusing. Maybe that's too harsh. Another word for it would be "style."
Even the senate.gov has gradient overlays now.
Posted by: David at June 13, 2006 12:44 PMYou're just saying that to see how many people will rush over to senate.gov and check out the HTML, aren't you?
Posted by: Bob S at June 13, 2006 02:06 PMWhat about text with the star outline around it?
Or big fat text size in the textboxes?
Or the dancing monkey?
