"Recomendável para crianças maiores de 3 anos." is the sentence in Portuguese. Have you noticed they use "clag" instead of "clay"?
I don't agree it's Engrish... Engrish tends to be intentional.
On another note, I'm still envious of the Lexus couple.

I still think it's Engrish, more or less, although as I mentioned at lunch, this is translated from the Japanese, not Chinese.

Engrish is a slang term which, in its purest form, refers to poor-quality attempts by professional Japanese writers to create English words and phrases; whether in mistranslation of an original English text, or in an attempt to create an original text in the English language.

I think the clag instructions were the result of a human being using an English/Chinese dictionary without knowing much English.

What I didn't tell James was the couple were sharing a spliff inside the Lexus.

1) I don't know. I prefer to think of it as clag, though.

2) I believe that "spliff" is Lexus's term for an individually configurable climate-control zone. It is possible to merge two or more zones to share a single profile. This is called "sharing a spliff."

3) I hope your battery works, at least. My iBook's battery lasts about 5 minutes on full charge. The other day I was browsing this website http://www.whitehousedrugpolicy.gov/streetterms/ and it died on me!

Coincidentally, the site you said you were browsing has a definition of "spliff", but it's completely wrong -- something horrid about drugs. I've e-mailed them with a correction, and mentioned you as a reference.
