Now that you've forced us all to break out the Python and write a binary-to-ASCII converter and TYPE those blasted 1's and 0's into our
text editors or stdins, please tell us why you put "DAVID" in binary, and why there is a space at the end and an "SO" (whatever that is, according to 'man ascii') at the beginning?
