On Thursday, November 13, the University will be hit by a disaster, but there is nothing natural about it.
Here is just one example of the impact of this dread menace:
Office of Information Technology Closures and Coverage on 11/13
The Office of Information Technology Help Desk will close at 4 p.m. on Thursday, 11/13. Software Licensing will close at 3:30 p.m. The OIT Visualization and Presentation Lab (VPL) and the Statistics Lab will close at 3 p.m.
What, you ask, could cause disruption on this scale?
A football game.
Classes have not been cancelled, but they should be. We must not underestimate this threat. SVeH6i8DbYBek

Posted by: Brooke at November 13, 2003 04:30 PMThis entry just begged me again (for the third day in a row) to plead its case: "Help me!! I'm the sole, lonely entry that hasn't aged off! It's terrble, wicked-hard, being all alone! Please, please," it begged, "whatever it takes, get me some company!"
Posted by: Andrew at November 26, 2003 01:02 PM??? There is another entry older than this on the front page, so I don't see what you're seeing. Unless David modified his MT to show more days' worth of entries in response to your comment. Didja, David?
Posted by: Bob S at November 30, 2003 01:29 PMYep, that's exactly what I did. I think I
upped it to retain 30 days.
