My brother hates me because he leant me a book, I never read it, and after asking me nicely to mail it back several times, I didn't. What can I say? I suck.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that I hate you, but I agree that you suck.
However, I respect the fact that you have owned up to your failures as a big brother in a public forum.
